An album 6 years in the making, with fragments of ideas dating as far back as 2011, Shadowplay III bears the mark of countless hours of introspection, experimentation and evolution... and it almost never saw the light of day.

It can be dark, melancholic and downright challenging. I'm not sure whether I'm describing the album or life itself, but I think both. This album tested me in so many ways and it nearly got the better of me. I can't objectively listen to it anymore, so I'm not sure whether I can consider it to be 'good' or 'bad'. I know that it is something that I have made and that has stayed with me for a large chunk of my life, and I did not give up on it.

I am so thankful that Katie Thompson gave her voice to some of the tracks on Shadowplay III - Her involvement has gifted me with so many incredible moments that allow me to just enjoy the music without a care in world, and with an album like this, with the challenge it has been, that is nothing short of a miracle.

I think there is a lot to like... From the outside looking in, there might even be something to love. All I know is that this is the most important piece of work I have made since I first started making music. It was born from my heart, so I hope you listen with yours.

... and so we explore the sky and the sea. Mere canvases, on which the mind can be sketched.

Thank you to everyone who helped me and supported me throughout this lengthy process. Special thanks to my friend Timo, who kept me sane and always had invaluable input :)
